	Welcome to School Sucks!

I'm sure you've heard lots about School Sucks. It is my
pleasure to take this opportunity to clarify a few matters
	for you.

	Here are a few points:

	1) This page, unlike the termpaper mills, does not charge
students. Therefore both students and professors have full
access to School Sucks.	Students know you are fully aware
of this site and therefore should not be turning in papers
	from this site.

	2) Were this a library of thesis (ie graduate level) papers,
	would there be a problem?

	3) The academic world is based on tenure. This is important
as it ensures continuity in education. It also poses a great
risk -- it insulates professors from the "rat race" that
their students will soon be joining.

Basic darwinism tells us that without a struggle there is no
progress. No checks and balance. You may or may not be aware
of this, but your students feel that many of you are mediocre
	in your profession.

How much time have you spent on acquiring new teaching methods
in the past few years? Compare that to how much time you have
spent trying to get your book published.

Granted, not every professor fits in this category -- to be
	fair, this is a minority.

But School Sucks is forcing you to re-evaluate your role as
educators. School Sucks is forcing mediocre professors
assigning mediocre assignments to wake up. It was you who
notified the media of the existence of this site, yet it
is you who will benefit the most from the existence of
	such a popular site.

	4) Many of you are reminding School Sucks of the perhaps less
than satisfactory level of some the papers featured.
School Sucks couldn't agree more - and we point out that
the papers featured here are a cross reference of the
level of students across the globe. Please do not pass
	the buck on this one.

I personally believe that the Pandora's box which is now
open will further education, not impede it. Did this site
make you rethink the roles of many in education? I believe
	so.
